Dr. Caroline DuCoin
Dr. DuCoin has been offering psychological services to children, teens, young adults, and families for almost 20 years. She cares deeply about providing high-quality mental health treatment to the Tampa community and has extended her licensure to serve the mental health needs of residents in 40 states.
Dr. DuCoin specializes in evidence-based therapy that supports family functioning and communication. She also works with couples to enhance connectedness and feeling understood and appreciated. Further, she has expertise working directly with parents to provide strategies that strengthen parenting skills and reduce feelings of inadequacy.
Dr. DuCoin received her Master’s degree in 2006 and her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology in 2009. She also completed her Doctoral Internship at the Department of Behavioral Psychology at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Additionally, Dr. DuCoin completed a two-year fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute before working as a supervising psychologist at its Child and Family Therapy Clinic. Presently, she serves as the owner and founder of the Center for Family and Behavioral Health (CFBH) located in Baltimore, Maryland as well as the owner and founder of Connections Psychology Center located in Tampa, Florida.
Christle Henzel, M.S., LCPC
Ms. Henzel provides therapeutic services to adolescents and young adults with a variety of mental health concerns, including management of symptoms to anxiety, depression, and life transitions and adjustments. She passionately believes that all individuals have the resources within themselves to make positive changes. She works with her clients to maximize resiliency and accomplish goals. Ms. Henzel takes a collaborative approach to working with her clients and provides a safe, non-judgmental space to explore challenging emotions and problematic behaviors.
Ms. Henzel served as a school psychologist for students from grades K-12 for over 17 years. She has also worked as a licensed professional counselor in Maryland and Pennsylvania providing both talk therapy and equine-assisted psychotherapy.
Dr. Reynolds Wilson
Dr. Reynolds Wilson is a licensed psychologist who specializes in early childhood and providing evidence-based treatment for young children experiencing common behavior concerns, including disruptive behaviors, anxiety, or sleep difficulties. Dr. Wilson is passionate about intervening early to enhance the well-being of young children (ages 2 to 6) and their families through empirically-supported behavioral interventions.
Dr. Wilson earned her Doctorate of Psychology from the University of Florida. She completed her Doctoral Internship and two years of Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Through her training, Dr. Wilson has experience treating a wide range of presenting concerns in young children, including: disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety disorders, sleep disturbances and ADHD symptoms. Dr. Wilson is also a certified provider for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and incorporates many elements of PCIT into her treatment.
After completing her training, Dr. Wilson served as a faculty member in the Division of Psychology at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) for 6 years where she specialized in early childhood services and providing behavioral parenting training interventions for typically-developing children experiencing common behavior concerns of early childhood, such as tantrums, aggression, noncompliance, anxiety, and sleep difficulties.
Dr. Wilson utilizes a behavioral parent training treatment approach, which focuses on providing caregivers with evidence-based positive behavior management techniques they can utilize to change and improve their child’s behavior. Collaborating closely with caregivers, Dr. Wilson ensures caregivers gain improved understanding of their child’s behavior and acquire the necessary skills to maintain their child’s positive behavioral progress over time.
With expertise in both mild and more severe behavior concerns, Dr. Wilson takes an active, skill-building approach to treatment and is dedicated to alleviating the challenging behaviors that can disrupt everyday life and promoting positive development in young children.
